‘F.A.Z. Portfolio Check’ for Germany’s leading newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung
Information portal, educational graphic and investment-tool: The functionality of the B2C web application »F.A.Z. Portfolio Check« allows newspapers and magazines to utilize their content in an innovative fashion. The seamless connection of journalism with individual portfolio positions connects non-banks like media companies to the transaction value chain. It also allows mass customization of independent portfolio newsletters. Our first customer is Germany’s leading newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
Combining the latest state-of-the-art technologies with innovative and intuitive design, tetralog developed a new user interface called »IMPACT«. IMPACT allows for the integration of complex and heterogenous information with ease of use and learnability.
IMPACT is powered by widgets, which can be seen as stand-alone mini applications. They work like modular building blocks, taking the content and functionality they need from underlying systems. Widgets are flexible, and can be reused across multiple portals and devices. They also can be combined with each other to create dynamic contextual experiences.
Our widgets are not device or technology specific. They are built with modern web-based technologies and rely on REST-ful services, making them uniquely responsive and suited to mobile devices.
IMPACT relies entirely on open standards, including HTML, HTML5, and dynamic web technologies like AJAX. This allows you to create highly interactive, beautiful rich internet applications, or what we call widgets, in any browser, without the need for plug-ins or downloads.
